HOMECOMING PARADE UPDATE

We have been closely monitoring the weather forecast throughout the week for Thursday, October 1st. According to the current forecast, there is a high probability of rain throughout the day.

We were hoping for a change in forecast because we know how much our students, families, staff, and community look forward to and enjoy the Homecoming Parade each year. However, due to the anticipated rain and the current forecast, we have made the decision to cancel the Homecoming Parade scheduled for Thursday, October 1st at 12:45 pm.

The Homecoming Pep Assembly will still take place at the Event Center at 1:25 pm as scheduled. 

We are also considering the possibility of moving the Homecoming Ceremonies to the Event Center. We are waiting to see how wet the fields are tomorrow following the incoming rain before making a final decision.

A final decision regarding the location of the Homecoming Ceremonies will be made by noon tomorrow.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we work to make the best decision for our students and community. We know this is a special tradition for Webbers Falls, and we appreciate everyone's understanding as we navigate the weather.
