This morning we arrived at school to find the Beautiful and Historic Oak Tree that sits in front of the school had split down the middle. We immediately contacted an Arborist out of Tulsa to explore our options to save the tree. Their recommendation was to trim a few of the heaviest limbs back to possibly take some of the stress off the split. Our County Commissioner Keith Hyslop and the City of Webbers Falls came down and began the process of trimming.
Unfortunately we were made aware by our insurance company since we are aware that the tree is damaged and that it is a liability our schools insurance will not cover any other damage that the tree could cause. Because of this we will have no choice but to remove her. On the bright size acorns were harvested from her last year and three trees have been successfully started. These trees will be replanted in her honor.
Pickup for after school today will be the same as morning drop off. The line will begin on Weatherly and be by the rock wall.
Oct 20, Coach G and Coach W invited our football and basketball teams to the Stidham Hay Ride. Not only a hayride, dinner, and worship but also a word from God. Thanks Weathertons for including these Webbers kids!

Kids For Christ started today! Every Wednesday students in grades k-6 can come into Mrs. Sanders room for a quick 15 minute lesson about the Bible. Today we had 67 students show up.

Join us in celebrating the fall senior athletes at this Friday's home football game. The ceremony will begin at 6:30pm. Senior parents/families, please meet on the football field at 6:15 that evening.
The Fall Festival is tomorrow night! Come out with your family to enjoy fun games, prizes, a silent auction, and the famous cake walk. Proceeds help support 4H and NHS!

The Cross Country team got to do a ropes course. They built trust, communication skills, and were all pushing their limits of fear and bravery! Great job group!!
