The Webber’s Falls Teachers Grouo will be selling concessions at the Southern Gospel Revival to raise $ for our Cindy Hayes Memorial Scholarship. We would love to thank Super Foods of Warner for there generous donation. 💕

Student Council and Oklahoma Blood Institute will join together to host a blood drive on Nov. 4 from 11:00 AM until 5:30 PM in the gym lobby. OBI is offering free antibody testing for anyone wanting to know if they have had COVID-19. Also you get your choice of OU or OSU T-Shirt!

October 10, 2020 Dear Parents, Due to a positive case among our staff that creates the inability for our school to provide the day to day essential services and an increase in COVID cases in our community, we will transition to distance learning effective Monday, October 12th. At this time, school is scheduled to resume in person Monday, October 26th. We understand the importance of meals for our students and will provide limited menu meal opportunities for all students each day except our scheduled Fall Break days (October 15th, 16th, and 19th). We ask that if you want meals for your child that you contact the school office by 9:00 a.m each day. Meals can be picked up at the school from 11:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m. If transportation is an issue, we can deliver upon request. This shutdown is going to differ from the one we experienced this past spring. All students will be transitioned over to our distance learning platform. (Google Classroom and in some cases paper assignments) Teachers will be on site everyday, and students may pick up their chromebooks and devices anytime Monday, October 12th, and Tuesday, October 13th. Student medications that are held in the school nurse’s office can be picked up at each site by the parent or guardian if needed during this mandatory shutdown. Parent teacher conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th; however, we will change the times to 9:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m. Parents who attend will be required to wear a mask and subject to a temperature check. If you do not want to attend conferences in person we encourage you to call the school office and request the teacher to call you (918-464-2583). Students who do not have connectivity will be allowed to come to the school from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily to use the school’s internet services. Face masks and temperature checks will be mandatory. All student activities will continue as scheduled as of now; coaches and sponsors will make contact with their players and participants to schedule practice and departure times. The safety and well-being of students and employees is our top priority. We continue to monitor the evolving health crisis caused by Coronavirus. We are adhering to guidance from the Oklahoma State Department of Health, State Department of Education, the CDC, and Emergency Management in all decisions made. This is a reminder of Upcoming Events. Tuesday October 13th is Parent Teacher Conferences from 3:30-9:30pm. Students will be out Wednesday October 14th for a Distance Learning Day and Fall Break will begin Thursday October 15th through Monday October 19th. Students will return to school on Tuesday October 20th.

Jostens has changed the order date for Seniors and class rings to Friday, Oct. 30th. Seniors will meet at noon and class rings will follow.

The following changes have been made to tonight and tomorrow's third and fourth grade basketball games. Webbers Falls girls will play at 4:30pm and 6:00pm and they boys will play at 5:15pm and 6:45pm.

FAFSA is NOW OPEN!!!! Seniors need to fill out their FAFSA as soon as possible. If you do your FAFSA early, you'll have a better chance at more federal financial aid or school financial aid. Mrs. Potts 1st grade teacher and Mrs. Olson our Elem Virtual teacher took time to make our campus beautiful . What a great way to start off the fall season.

Our homecoming crown bearer will be Daxton Cope. Our homecoming flower girl will be Avery Barger. Come see these cuties at the Webbers Falls Homecoming on October 23rd the coronation will be at 5:45 kickoff at 6:00!

Webbers Falls Seniors will take the ACT on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the high school.

We have an immediate need for substitute teachers, certified or noncertified. Pick up an application at the front office or print the application from our website. Must be 18 or over and able to pass a background check. ACT test seats are still available this October. To ensure students have access to this important opportunity, we’ve extended the deadline to register until October 5 for all four test dates: October 10 October 17 October 24 October 25

4-H sign-up meeting is scheduled for September 28, 2020 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM in the school cafeteria. We will provide computers for the sign-up process. Any questions please call Judy Treadwell at 918-464-2334.

Please help Student Council raise money for our projects this year by purchasing a t-shirt or a hoodie. Orders are due by Friday. We will send home order forms for the 3rd and 4th graders who have been in quarantine on Monday and ask that those orders be turned in by Wednesday of next week. Order your spirit shirt today!

Fastpitch Softball Districts at Webbers Falls have been changed from Thursday, Sept. 24th to Friday, Sept. 25th. The students whose parents have signed permission slips for them to attend the ballgames on Thursday will still be valid for Friday's games. Parents will not need to sign a new permission slip.
