Congratulations to Maddux Shelby and Caden Dishman who received First Team All-District honors in football. We are so proud of you!

The junior class’s float placed 2nd in the Webbers Falls Christmas Parade on Saturday and received honorable mention for the best theme at the Gore Christmas Parade. They also had some help from a few sophomores and teachers John Hicks, Arlena Tipken, and Lori Menie. It looks like they had a great time.

Congratulations to Webbers Falls teacher Meghan Johnson, who has just received her National Board Certification. National Board Certification is the most respected professional certification available in education. National Board candidates must demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills, and practice in their individual certificate area by completing four components: three portfolio entries and a computer-based assessment. National Board Certification was designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide. Mrs. Johnson is certainly deserving of this honor. We are so proud of you!

Mr. Bush's Zoology students took a field trip to the Oklahoma Aquarium at Jenks today. Mr. Whelan drove the bus. It looks like they had a great time.

We are wrapping up our first eSports season. eSports is competitive gaming and we play against other students in Oklahoma as well as across the nation. We have several students involved in the program and they did great this season. I wanted to give a special shoutout to Riley Ogg. He finished 4th out of 101 students across the nation in NBA2K21 and he has made it to the playoffs. Awesome work Riley! I will give updates on his progress in the playoffs as I get them.

We are super excited to have this addition of a greenhouse to our Vocational Agriculture program. We look forward to all the fun projects that will be coming!

Mrs. Whelan’s 2nd grade class were the winners of the can food drive. They collected 312 cans.
