Lady Warriors 2020 Conference Champions!
Lady Warriors WIN play at 4:30 in the finals.
Good morning. This is Superintendent Chris Whelan, and this message is for Webbers Falls families. First, what an exciting time it is to be a Warrior. Congratulations to Coach Norman and the Ladies Softball team in their victory yesterday at the Stigler Tournament, they will play today at 1:30 against Gore then the championship games will follow. GOOD LUCK! Coach Holt's team won their second football game of the season last night in impressive fashion and we cannot wait to see what the rest of he future holds for them.
I would like to thank you for supporting our students and staff during these first few weeks of classes. Even with challenges, we are so happy to be back in school and to have the opportunity to see students each day. Second, I would like to remind you there will be no school on Monday, September 7 for the Labor Day holiday. Please remember: While we relax this weekend, our attention to COVID-19 prevention should not be relaxed. When celebrating the holiday and visiting with family and friends, please continue to be vigilant – wash your hands, wear a face covering and social distance, whenever possible. Muskogee County has been identified as a RED county this week based on the Oklahoma State Department of Health data. This drastic increase is due largely because of nearly 600 positive cases at Eddie Warrior Correctional Center which is included in the Muskogee County COVID count. Have a great weekend, we appreciate your cooperation, and we look forward to seeing students again on Tuesday, September 8.
The schedules for 2020-2021 HS and JH Football, Basketball and Fastpitch games are now available in the Documents section under Athletics on the schools website.

The First Day of School is just a few hours away. The Webbers Falls Staff are so excited to see all the kids and we know they are just as excited to see us as well. Our staff have been working very hard to prepare for the new normal and as you can see its going to be a little different. We plan on seeing all of you tomorrow morning. Please make sure you have watched the morning drop arrival procedure video we put out yesterday. This will help things go more smoothly.
We Are Warrior Strong!

The teachers and staff at Webbers Falls Schools are eagerly awaiting the arrival of your children Thursday morning. School starts at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Because of the morning screening process, please have your child or children here no later than 8:00 a.m. if possible. Pre-K and Kindergarten students will eat breakfast in their classrooms beginning at 8:00 a.m. Students in 1st-4th grade will eat breakfast in the cafeteria from 8:00 - 8:15 a.m. After being screened, students in 5th-12th grade will assemble in the new gym until their scheduled breakfast from 8:15 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
All students and staff are required to wear face masks. If your child does not have a face mask, he or she will be provided one upon entering the bus or upon arrival at school. Our students' safety and well-being are our highest priority. We are prepared to offer a traditional curriculum for students on campus as well as a virtual curriculum for those who chose this alternative. We are allowing a two week grace period for parents to decide if they want their child to be traditional or virtual. If you have signed up for traditional, and want to go virtual, you have two weeks to make the change. Likewise, if you begin virtual and decide to switch to traditional, you can do so within two weeks.
Virtual students who want to pick up breakfast and lunch need to contact the school for more information.
We can wait to see our students Thursday morning!

Parents & Guardians: The first day of school (August 13th) is just around the corner. Because of Covid-19, we realize that there may be a few parents or guardians who would prefer their child or children to not return to a traditional brick and mortar school setting. Webbers Falls Schools will offer a full-time virtual option, but we need to know in advance whether this is the option you will be choosing, so our staff can begin preparations. Keep in mind the following: Students who are 100% virtual will not be allowed to participate in extra-curricular activities. Also, if you choose 100% online, you must remain in this setting until the end of the semester, which is December 17th. If you believe virtual learning is best for your child(ren), please call the school to let us know. We need to know the name of your child and what grade he or she will be in. Also, do not come to pick up the enrollment packets until we officially announce they are ready. Thank you.
