This amazing youth group from Grace Assembly in Joplin, Missouri spent four days at our school doing some pretty grimy work. Thank you for your amazing work and your servant heart. Thank you to their leaders, Derrick and Crystal Hornback and Rick. Crystal was a math student of Dr. Swearingen. She is pictured to the right of Dr. Swearingen. You all have blessed us!
Mr. Patrick Turner, Superintendent of Krebs Public Schools, donated and delivered 20 Promethean Interactive White Boards & Projectors earlier today. Helping Mr. Turner unload the Promethean Boards were Blake Wyatt, Bobby Tripp, Josh Mason, Jerry Ward, & Jordan Garner. Mr. Turner and Krebs School had previously donated two truckloads of Saxon Phonics & Math Curriculum as you will see on the floor behind us in the Falls Building. Thank you, Mr. Turner and Krebs Public Schools, for your many generous donations this summer.
Thank you to an alum of Webbers Falls Schools and spouse who delivered a $500 check. This alum issued a matching challenge to all Webbers Falls alumni. If you are unable to match this donation, any amount would be greatly appreciated. We are humbled by the generosity of all.
We were blessed today with Amazon gift packages from Tiffiney Swearingen, Linda Holmes, Jordan Turley, Donna Davis of Medford, OK, and from someone who signed the gift note "God Bless!" We are grateful to all our donors for their kindness and acts of charity.
Teacher Ali Sanders received a donation of science resources to be used in her lab and classroom. The donation came from Laura Brodersen,a retired science teacher who lives in Glenpool. Ms. Brodersen also threw in some books and other items for our teachers. Thank you!

School Nurse Judy Treadwell received a generous donation today to replenish her Nurse's office.The medical and first aid items were donated by Kenny Shelby (Class of 1966) and Brenda Barnes (Class of 1974). Our thanks go out to these two WF alumni who continue to support our school.

Coach Stefanie Norman would like to invite the JH & HS fast pitch softball players and their families to a little family get together this Thursday night (August 1st) at 7:00 p.m. at the softball field. Coach Norman will provide hot dogs and paper products. She is asking each family to bring some type of beverage (bottled water, sport drinks, etc.) and/or a bag of chips. She looks forward to meeting all the girls and their families.
Coach Holt has asked me to announce that there will be football practice/conditioning this week as follows: Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. All football players 7th-12th grade should be in attendance. It's time to get in shape, boys!

Bob & Elva Westermark of Tulsa donated 15 boxes of books from their personal library. They were boxed and ready to go when I got there. Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. Westermark, for your thoughtful donation. We will find a special place for these books in our school library.
My day started with a very generous donation to my elementary principal account. The Nix Foundation donated $5,000 to be used for the needs of Webbers Falls students and teachers in the upcoming school year. We will certainly put it to good use. Thank you so much! Our first new picnic table has arrived, courtesy of Gene & Stacy Blankenship. A special thanks also goes out to Dawson Littlefield who helped unload it. Thank you, Blankenship family, for this adorable picnic table for our elementary playground pavilion.
Sam, Norma, & Samantha Griffith spent the day at Muskogee Walmart collecting school supply donations and having a bake sale. They also sold bagged gourmet popcorn that was donated by Country Corn. They raised $775, which will be donated to the school. Thank you Griffith family for being proud supporters of Webbers Falls Schools!
Correction: Our special delivery this morning from Dallas was from “Junior DECATS Dallas” which is a summer camp for 3rd-5th grade. They worked extremely hard getting us some amazing donations. I want to make sure that I give credit where credit is due. Some of the students are from St. Rita, but there are also students from 20 other schools in the diocese. You kids rock! Thank you again.
